White Massage Table

Today, day 38 in my year of daily doing some new thing, I bought a massage table and set it up in the kitchen, to practise the Reiki I learned in earlier posts. I don’t know if a massage table has ever been given such a hearty welcome and put immediately to such multiple use. I gave Dear One a Reiki session, then gave myself one, and when Juliette came home from school she gave us each a massage, then kicked us off the table so she could lie on it and read Harry Potter looking down through the opening in the face pillow and resting the book and her arms on the arm rest. Dear One twice mentioned how peaceful it was in the house. The table is covered in white leatherette and folds up easily into a nifty suitcase shape with a handle and four little legs. What’s really fun is doing a Reiki session and then a Tarot reading.

Reiki and Tarot............
WOW, Kathleen...............I so admire you and your ability to adhere to your New Year's 'self promise'............ to do something EACH day you have never done before............Your 'stick-to-it-ive-ness' (as my grade three teacher used to say) speaks volumes of your character, courage, and imagination...............Kufos!

I would love some tips! It is so wonderful to have this table in one's home. I can see why you would like your clients to have one. I had no idea how many benefits there would be. Thank you!

Re: Massage
Thank you for this - I like the idea of starting with a straight Swedish massage. I asked my husband if he would like to take a class with me and he said he would. I might look in our area to see where we can learn. I like that you said maybe I'm petite. I am a great hulk of a woman.
