My latest collage: that's Vita Sackville-West in her red hat. Why collage? Because fragmented images inhabit our underground streams, wordless and potent, and they can get us unstuck, out of the linear cage of laboured thought and into a kind of unknowable, scary freedom where the real questions lie.
