Little House on the Toothbrush

On day 83 in my year of daily new actions I got one of those little houses for your toothbrush, to prevent freefloating invisible nasty things from settling on it while it lies damply in wait for you to use it. I chose a purple one because I don't choose purple very often, especially purple pens, because I'm afraid they will make me write purple prose, and we don't want that. We want prose that is lean and muscular, unlike some of our bellies at this time of year, what with husbands who come home with pecan tarts and Belgian chocolate seahorses. The little toothbrush house comes with the usual set of instructions translated from the Marswegian, but what it doesn't say is that the thing loses its effectiveness if you stumble out of bed forgetting it is there, then grab your toothbrush and cram it in your mouth with the little house still on it, and clack it aroud your teeth like some sort of deranged zombie.

I was trying to decide from the ingredients what you were making. I think it's fish sauce because of the tamarind.
How close am I?
