The way old lovers do it

This has nothing to do with something new each day. I was thinking about how many recipes I use come from the old lovers of my men. For instance, my scrambled eggs used to be horrible until I learned how to cook them the way my first husband's old girlfriend Bev the stripper does them. Bev's scrambled eggs are so good it's a wonder he let that woman go. I have two ways of cooking macaroni and cheese: one from the old girlfriend of one old love of my life, the other from Dear One's former wife, both methods entirely different. Dear One's former wife also knew how to barbecue mean ribs, so I can thank her for that. Have you got a recipe you just love to do the way old lovers do it?

Lover's Recipes
And I thought I was the only one with the recipe file peppered with the ways of the lovers of days gone by!
Mine include a large-batch salsa, tamales, and a stellar ex-wife granola. I've had to amend many of the cooking ways of the lovers to reflect the need for gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free...free, free, set them free.
Now there is a new sub-section to my recipe files: recipes from the former (and current) lover's of my adult sons.
Women sharing kitchen secrets of love deep into the nites...what a gift!
